Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Barrio Club de Fútbol (“Barrio”, “we”, “us”). By using this website or the Barrio app, or by signing up for a game or event, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the app.

Who can use the app

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Barrio app account. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, and they agree to these terms for you. Kids camps and youth events are registered by a parent or guardian.

Your account

Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at barrioclubdefutbol@gmail.com if you think someone else is using it.

Playing with Barrio

Street soccer is a physical, contact sport played on hard surfaces. Injuries can happen. By taking part, you accept that risk, confirm you are fit to play, and agree to play within your limits. Before playing you may be asked to sign a separate participation waiver, which applies alongside these terms.

• Respect other players, the crew, neighbors and the venue.
• No violence, harassment, threats, or discrimination of any kind.
• Follow the crew’s instructions and any venue rules.
• Don’t play under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

We can refuse entry, remove someone from a game, or suspend an app account to keep the community safe. Game times and locations can change; check the app before you head out.

Photos and video

We photograph and film our games and events. By attending, you agree that we may use footage in which you appear on our website, social channels and promotional materials, without payment. If you would rather not appear, tell the crew at the event or email barrioclubdefutbol@gmail.com, and we will avoid featuring you and remove existing footage where we reasonably can.

What you share with us

If you send us photos, videos, messages or other content, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you give Barrio permission to use it to run and promote the club. You keep ownership of your content.

Our name, badge and content

The Barrio name, the Barrio CF badge, our films, photos, text and design are owned by Barrio or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links to our pages and posts. You may not copy, sell or use our name, badge or content for commercial purposes without written permission. Contact us about press use on our Press page.

Merch and paid events

Prices, availability, and refund terms for merch and paid events are shown at the time you buy or sign up. Unless stated otherwise, fees for games and events are non-refundable once the game has started.

Other websites

We link to Instagram, partners and other sites we don’t control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

The website and app are provided “as is”. We work to keep them accurate and available, but we don’t promise they will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Barrio and its organizers and volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for injury, loss or damage arising from your participation in games or events, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Your responsibility

You agree to cover Barrio for claims and costs that result from your breaking these terms or the law, or from your conduct at our games and events.

Ending your use

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or put others at risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will tell app users in the app or by email. Continuing to use the site or app means you accept the updated terms.
